Overall, nice hotel, but the rooms were very outdated, torn couch, dirty carpet, etc. Nice staff, but not exceptional, as compared to other Marriott Hotels....

Good Hotel
Overall a good experience. Staff friendly and helpful, really comfortable room, good amenities, great food, but noisy. Heavy doors slamming shut; service carts in the hallway; could hear neighbor’s televison, conversation and singing in the shower....

What can I say, anythng Marriott is comfort, quality, friendly, and welcoming. I loved this hotel, the surrounding neighborhoods, and the overall feel of this hotel and location. Great choice for any occasion....

not good for the price.
The location close to Penn Avenue is good, but the service and the quality of the room for the price was certainly not. The sink was old and did not work. The window did not close. Friendliness was lacking....

convenient and clean
perfect for visiting the mall - 15 min walk away and right next to subway station. In business district so quiet in evenings. Close restaurants (especially if travelling with kids) are limited but Chinatown which has a wide variety, is 15- 20 mins walk away. Quality hotel which provides expected...

Loved it!
Went to tour DC. Had an AWESOME trip. Walked everywhere. Felt safe. Would not recommend renting a car, parking would be nuts. The only thing I did not like was the walls were thin, so I heard doors slamming at all hours, and some partiers that came in at 2am...
