Best hotel stay in years!
We arrived for a girls’ weekend in DC, and weren’t disappointed. The Madera welcomed us early to check in and then surprised us with free parking since we’d arrived in a Hybrid. It just got better... free wine and cocktail hour with spiced cider, a lively reception crew that got...

Decent hotel overall, but could have been better for the price
We stayed recently at this hotel and our impressions are overall good, however we expected more for a 3.5 star hotel. The hotel looked like a conversion from an old condominium (not done very well) and there were signs of wear and tear especially in the lobby and the elevators....

Every evening, the hotel hosted a wine happy hour and the lobby was too small for the amount of people there. But, there is nothing they can do about that and everything else made up for it. What a great place....

Heater stopped working from midnight. Toilet flush was not working. Parking was $40 per night which is almost equivalent to a room in hotel....

Convenient location. Friendly, courteous and professional staff. The first room had a damp odor to it, the front desk gave me another room immediately. Room was large and well appointed. Did not use gym / pool / restaurant....
